Youth Best Paper Award:/Poster Award
IMPORTANT DATES:
An Expert Committee will select best research papers from young scholars (less than 30 years of age). These should be single authored research papers. Interested young scholars are encouraged to submit their abstracts online for competition by mentioning “For Young Scholars Research Paper Award”. There will be “Best Poster Awards” in the category of poster presentations. Oral presentation will be allotted 15 minutes time.
IASSH has instituted a memorial lecture in honour of Prof. John Caldwell, doyen of Demography, who passed away in 2016. The second Prof. John Caldwell Memorial Lecture will be held during the conference.
In honour of late Prof. K.E.Vaidyanathan, a distinguished demographer and former President of the Association, the fourth Prof. K.E.Vaidyanathan Memorial Lecture will also be held during the annual conference

Travel Grant:
Travel Grant may be awarded to PRESENTERS of few selected abstracts which include to and fro rail fare. All participants are requested to explore the possibility of obtaining TA/DA from their organizations, which will facilitate participation of more young scholars. Decisions regarding the award of travel grants rest with the review committee and depends upon the availability of funds.
