Publication Awards

IASSH has instituted a competition for best research publications authored by young researchers from 2021 onwards. To encourage academic scholarship and quality scientific publications in social sciences and health studies, we invite applications from young researchers to submit their recently published journal articles for the consideration of Best Youth Publication Awards. The publications will be evaluated by an expert committee appointed by the IASSH. The authors of the selected best publications every year will be awarded with a certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 25,000 each. The awards will be distributed during the annual conference of the Association.

In 2024, IASSH also instituted Prof. K. Mahadevan Award to encourage scientific publications by young researchers exclusively based on their field-based research.
