Youth Best Paper Award:
An Expert Committee will select best research papers from young scholars (less than 30 years of age). These should be single authored research papers. Interested young scholars are encouraged to submit their abstracts online by mentioning "For Young Scholars Research Paper Award". Apart from the Young Scholars Research Paper Award, there will be “Best Poster Awards” in the category of poster presentations. Oral presentation will be allotted about 15 minutes time. visiting following link for submission: http://www.iassh.org/onlineabstract.aspxIn honour of late Prof. K.E.Vaidyanathan, a distinguished demographer and former President of the association, IASSH has instituted a memorial lecture in 2014. The Third Prof. K.E.Vaidyanathan Memorial Lecture will be held on 23rd September 2016 during the conference.

Travel Grant:
Travel Grant may be awarded to PRESENTERS of selected abstracts (ORAL or POSTER PRESENTATION or PRE CONFERENCE WORKSHOP participant) which include to and fro rail fare. All the participants are requested to explore the possibility of obtaining TA/DA from their organizations, which will facilitate participation of more young scholars. Decisions regarding the award of travel grants rest with the review committee and depends upon the availability of funds.
Publication:
Selected papers from the conference will be published in an edited volume and also in a special issue of "Artha Vijnana", journal of Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics
